We have recently added the latest DEXA bone scanner
from Hologics with the new IVA technology. This
technology allows us to instantly visualize the entire
vertebral column and screen for compression/wedge
fractures. Medicare has recognized the importance of
this new technology and is now paying for the
additional modality. We are currently the only
Osteoporosis screening center in Pickens county. We
are proud to add this service to our already
comprehensive Women's health care, currently provided
by 3 female medical providers. |
